Rotterdam Philharmonic Gergiev Festival

The Laurenskerk (1449 – 1525) is all that remains of mediaeval Rotterdam. The church was severely damaged in the bombardment of 14 May 1940; the restoration took 16 years, from 1952 to 1968.
