Rotterdam Philharmonic Gergiev Festival

The home port is calling! On the final night of a festival that crossed the seven seas, Yannick Nézet-Séguin and the Rotterdam Philharmonic will set off once more. Starting out in calm waters, they will guide us through a dark and turbulent surf to finally moor at the mouth of the River Rhine.

Introduction: For this concert it is optional to visit an introduction. Jelle Dierickx has a degree in History of the Arts and is the Artistic Coördinator of the Rotterdam Philharmonic Festival. He gives an introduction to the concert and puts it in the perspective of the festival as a whole. Costs for attending the introduction are 5 euro, you can purchase a ticket for the introduction by selecting this option when ordering your regular ticket at the ordering form.
